My Story

My name is Marike Staverman.

In 2017 and 2018 I lived with my family in South Africa. When I came back to the Netherlands a few months later, during the renovation of our new house, I got a double hernia. I had to get used to being back in the Netherlands and in combination with my extremely painful hernia, I ended up in a major depression. I could hardly do anything anymore, was completely dependent on others, felt lonely and at the same time was in a mourning process because of the lack of the country where my heart lay. Being dependent on others, was something I found very difficult. I was a busy bee and always had everything under control. I was forced to let go of that control completely.

After about three quarters of a year, I got to know Sensi therapy. I decided to follow the training purely because I wanted to get myself out of the depression and to become more empowered, so that my pains in my body would also disappear. I learned there that I had neglected my body all these years, by going on and on and not listening to the signals it gave. I was completely cut off from my body, was too much in my thinking and didn't really know what I needed and what made me happy

During my training I had to practice a lot on others. I learned a lot from the people sitting on the table with me. Many themes that also played a role with me were touched upon. Clients went home charged and more balanced and I also seemed to heal a bit every time. Everything is energy and we all influence each other.

I would like to share my knowledge and skills in the field of Sensi therapy with others in order to contribute to more balance in body and mind. Because the more people are in balance and in their strength, the more beautiful the world eventually becomes.

Since 2022 I live in beautiful Central France. Also in my practice here, I have been able to guide many.

I have started to delve into the power of nature. I have followed a training as a herbalist and my garden is also my learning school. From the plants, herbs, trees and flowers I make beautiful things that can support the body.

You are welcome in my practice to experience it yourself!
